Ignorance plays a role in a surprisingly high number of philosophical debates, ranging from the veil of ignorance in political philosophy to ignorance as a precondition for objectivity in philosophy of science. This project is mostly about the analysis of ignorance: Is ignorance a purely negative thing, the lack of knowledge, or something more positive, fact blindness?
